Hydroslim presentation and promises

Hydroslim is a thermogenic pre-workout supplement, meaning it’s designed to accelerate and increase the body’s energy expenditure and calorie burning.

As a pre-workout supplement, its aim is not only to help push the body’s limits during sports sessions, but also to boost the body’s calorie burn.

A 100% natural supplement, equally interesting for men and women, Hydroslim has multiple actions, which we summarize below:

  • Increases pre-workout energy ;
  • Helps push the limits of physical effort;
  • Increases strength;
  • Fat-burning action;
  • Improves focus;
  • Is absorbed rapidly, which improves its assimilation, and therefore its effects on the body.

Hydroslim is suitable for vegetarians.

It comes in powder form, to be taken as 1 measuring spoon mixed with 300-400ml of water.

The manufacturer recommends taking this supplement 15 minutes before exercise.

Hydroslim ingredients

ingredients-de-hydroslim
Hydroslim is composed of a matrix called “thermogenic enhancing matrix”.

In simpler terms, this means that the matrix is designed to increase thermogenesis, i.e. the body’s metabolism and heat production.

The matrix comprises the following ingredients:

1. Gamma Butyrobetaine:

This is an enzyme whose action is to catalyze the formation of L-carnitine.

L-carnitine is an essential nutrient in the transport of activated fatty acids in cell membranes.

L-carnitine has numerous benefits for those wishing to lose weight. It is known to reduce hunger, improve fat oxidation, boost sports performance (so more muscle, less fat), improve recovery and raise energy levels.

2. Green coffee:

Green coffee contains caffeine, its main active substance.

The advantage of caffeine in green coffee is that it offers all the benefits of coffee, without the side effects of caffeine found in roasted coffee.

A stimulant for the central nervous system and cardiovascular system, caffeine improves alertness and concentration, and boosts lipolysis and thermogenesis.

Green coffee also contains chlorogenic acid, which reduces the body’s absorption of glucose.

It is also rich in antioxidants.

3. Myristica Fragrans:

This is the Latin name for nutmeg.

Well-known for its culinary interest, nutmeg is no less an ingredient with powerful virtues.

It has powerful anti-inflammatory, analgesic (pain-relieving) and anti-bacterial properties.

It alleviates pain, particularly in joints and nerves, and treats nausea and bloating.

It also has excellent tonic and neurotonic virtues.

It is ideal after sport to aid recovery and improve digestion.

4. Tyrosine :

Tyrosine is an amino acid that plays a role in appetite control and stress reduction.

5. Guggulsterone:

A strange name for an ingredient!

A little research into this oddly-named substance revealed that it’s actually a plant.

Also known as commiphora mukul, this plant acts by reducing cholesterol, triglyceride and lipid levels in the blood.

6. Caffeine Malate:

This is a combination of caffeine and malic acid which, like traditional caffeine, increases alertness and concentration, boosts energy and metabolism, and reduces fatigue.

Caffeine malate also has a calming and relaxing effect on the digestive system.

This counterbalances some of the potentially annoying effects of classic caffeine, namely its laxative properties!

7. Green tea :

A recognized fat-burning ingredient.

Theanine increases thermogenesis and lipolysis, while catechins act as relaxants and anti-oxidants.

8. Salacia Reticulata:

Native to India and Sri Lanka, this plant is widely used in Ayurvedic medicine to treat diabetes, joint pain, obesity and thirst.

It acts as a carbohydrate absorption inhibitor, blocking lipase enzymes and reducing the rate of lipid absorption after meals.

Scientific data on Hydroslim

We have not found any clinical studies specifically dedicated to Hydroslim’s exact formula.

However, the main ingredients of its composition have been studied and validated by science, but on an isolated basis.

A British study carried out in 2002 attempted to evaluate the effects of oral L-carnitine supplementation on the oxidation of long-chain fatty acids, in-vivo in healthy adults.

The researchers in this study started from the fact that, despite the abundance of work carried out on this subject, the effects of such oral supplementation remain uncertain in the case of healthy, normal people, and they arrived, at the end of this experiment, at the conclusion that oral L-carnitine supplementation promotes increased oxidation of long-chain fatty acids in-vivo in subjects without L-carnitine deficiency or prolonged fatty acid metabolism.

With regard to green coffee, we’d like to mention this Norwegian study, the aim of which was to determine the effect of coffee enriched with chlorogenic acid on glucose absorption in healthy volunteers, and its effect on body mass when used long-term in overweight or obese people.

The experiment was carried out on 12 healthy volunteers who were given different glucose-containing coffee products.

The results showed that soluble coffee enriched with chlorogenic acid reduced glucose absorption by 6.9% compared to soluble coffee enriched with chlorogenic acid. On the other hand, normal or decaffeinated soluble coffee had no effect on the subjects.

In a second comparative test conducted in parallel as part of a randomized, double-blind protocol on a sample of 30 overweight people over a 12-week period, the researchers studied the effect of coffee enriched with chlorogenic acid on body mass compared with normal coffee.

The weight losses recorded were 5.4kg for the group receiving chlorogenic acid-enriched coffee and 1.7kg for the second group consuming normal coffee.

In conclusion, the researchers confirm that coffee enriched with chlorogenic acid appears to have a significant effect on glucose absorption, and when used over the long term, this coffee enriched with chlorogenic acid may lead to a greater reduction in body mass and fat compared with normal soluble coffee.

Green tea, for its part, has been the subject of a large number of scientific studies.

Since we can’t cite them all, we’ll just mention this study by a group of Japanese researchers who investigated the effect of catechin-rich green tea extract on the reduction of body fat and cardiovascular risk in humans.

The aim of this study was to determine this effect in humans in the context of several typical lifestyles.

Study subjects were selected from men and women who were all viscerally obese.

The experiment consisted in putting these volunteers on a diet for two weeks (run-in period), followed by a 12-week double-blind trial in two separate groups.

The first group, called the catechin group, comprised 123 people who received a daily dose of green tea extract containing 583mg of catechins, and the second group (placebo control group), comprising 117 people, received a daily dose of 96mg.

Randomization was stratified according to gender and BMI, and subjects maintained their normal dietary intake and usual physical activity.

The data collected from this experiment showed that decreases in body weight, BMI, body fat ratio, body fat mass, waist circumference, hip circumference, visceral fat area and subcutaneous fat area were greater in the catechin group than in the placebo group.

In addition, a greater reduction in systolic blood pressure was observed in the catechin group than in the placebo control group.

Low-density lipoproteins were also significantly reduced in the catechin group.

And last but not least, no adverse effects following consumption of the catechin-rich green tea extract were recorded in any of the subjects.

Finally, we cite a review of studies carried out on sala reticulata and its potential benefits in treating diabetes and obesity.

The aim of this review is to present a critical analysis of the evidence for the use of sala reticulata in the treatment of type 2 diabetes and obesity.

The basic data are drawn from in vitro studies, animal studies and clinical trials.

In the end, the researchers who conducted this study conclude that sala reticulata effectively improves insulin resistance, glucose metabolism and reduces obesity.
