DigestIt Colon Cleanse, what you should know before you buy
DigestIt colon cleanse is a dietary supplement designed to help you lose weight. According to its manufacturer, it is designed to prevent constipation, improve colonic elimination and help cleanse vital organs and the lymphatic system. Unlike many chemical solutions of this kind, DigestIt colon cleanse is entirely plant-based, according to its manufacturer’s description.
Faced with the weight-loss promises found on the product’s official website, as well as on several forums and sites, we’re quite curious to know which ingredients would promote weight reduction combined with intestinal well-being? What is the mechanism of action? And is it safe enough for your health? That’s what we’ll try to find out with you, at the end of this test.
DigestIt colon cleanse, what exactly is it?
DigestIt Colon Cleanse is presented by its manufacturer as a 100% natural product and dietary supplement formulated to facilitate healthy digestion, via colon cleansing. In short, the use of this product is supposed to improve bowel movements, help save intestinal flora and prevent constipation. The ultimate aim of this product is therefore to eliminate harmful waste to promote correct digestion and purify the colon.
To understand the importance of the colon, you need to know that an adult would without fail have between 5 and 7 kg of excrement and undigested food to eliminate on a regular basis. This represents the toxins, gases and parasites that this waste can produce if retained for long periods in the colon, and which must be eliminated. This whole mix is the cause of excess fat, especially around the belly.
Who makes DigestIt Colon Cleanse?
This is a question that should be answered directly on the product’s official website. A tour of the site led us to two names:
- Nutrology: this appears to be the company responsible for distributing DigestIt. At least, that’s what it says on the ingredients label on the site.
- Pacific 289 Ltd: presumably the manufacturer. This name can be found under the heading Terms and Conditions, where it appears twice, but with no mention of a physical address.
Further investigation reveals that this company is based in Cyprus, and that its name is associated with more than 1900 domain names. These are, for the most part, websites selling various wellness products and dietary supplements. We went through a dozen of them: they all look like DigestIt Colon Cleanse’s, with a few differences.
This information was found on ContraHealthScam.com, The website’s founder, Obinna Ossai, has set himself the goal of unmasking the various “scams” in the world of alternative health.
Permanent purchase or monthly direct debit?
Systematically, we take a look at the General Terms of Sale (GTS) section, if we can find one. In the case of DigestIt, we’ve discovered a passage that sows doubt. Here’s a screenshot of clause 8 of the document:
To make sure we understood, we searched for the original English text on the US version of the website:
8. Collection Policy
If I enroll in the membership or auto ship (“trial”) program today, I am agreeing to be charged the trial amount advertised today and the retail amount advertised when the advertised trial period is over in for my trial product received. If I do not call to cancel the membership or auto ship during the advertised trial period, I am agreeing to pay the retail amount advertised for the trial product received, at the end of the advertised trial period. If the card on file does NOT successfully authorize for that agreed upon retail amount and you have not called to cancel, the company shall be entitled to seek collection of the unpaid funds using either internal or third party collection efforts plus all costs of collection including reasonable interest, reasonable attorney’s fees (if suit is filed) and reasonable collection agency fees.
We’re not sure, but it’s likely that the purchase of this product would include automatic subscription to a monthly direct debit for automatic replenishment. This type of sale is quite common in the USA, and many European buyers have already found themselves in rather tricky situations.

DigestIt, how does it work?
Before going any further, we should first ask ourselves the question: what is the purpose of the colon?
The role of the colon is to receive undigested food, absorb water and salt, and form fecal matter from bacteria, dead cells and degradation pigments. In short, toxins and waste. Its main role is to help evacuate faeces to the rectum.
On the other hand, you should know that the food preservatives we regularly consume, present everywhere in our diet, become sticky in the colon and attach themselves to the intestinal walls. This makes digestion difficult. Over time, the colon becomes quite large, producing toxins and harboring parasites too. This is precisely where DigestIt Colon Cleanse is supposed to come in: to remove them. Thanks to its herbal formula, which the manufacturer details on its official website (a good thing, in our view), DigestIt Colon Cleanse is said to use the virtues of each of its ingredients to purify the colon and reduce weight.

What we think of DigestIt Colon Cleanse
If we’re talking about the formula announced by the manufacturer, we could say that DigestIt Colon Cleanse could be a good product aimed at improving intestinal transit and purifying the colon, a problem that remains the concern of a large number of people trying to regain their well-being. However, it would have been more interesting to include more key ingredients in their formula. A certain lack of Probiotics was highlighted, given that Probiotics have their place in a treatment for the colon.
If we now turn to the authenticity of the product itself and the reputation of its manufacturer, we find that we cannot currently recommend DigestIt Colon Cleanse. Too many opaque areas were identified in our investigation, leaving us still thirsty.
