The race for slimness and the hunt for calories are sometimes incompatible with an ordinary life, where temptations are a daily occurrence, and where we melt with pleasure and remorse over a good plate of pasta bolognaise or a well-stuffed pizza.

That’s why some laboratories have come up with products designed to help us lose weight as part of a sensible diet.

In other words, if the slimming product can be integrated as discreetly as possible into an already established diet, without disturbing or disrupting it… then it would be a good product!

Is Carb Blocker such a product?

We’ll find out in the following test.

What is Carb Blocker? Carb Blocker?

As its name suggests, Carb Blocker is a carb blocker manufactured by the Evolution Slimming laboratory, whose active ingredient is simply raw white bean extract.

This component is said to block the transformation ofstarch contained in starches, pasta and bread, into sugars.

The result of this inhibition is a reduction in the calories that the body can derive from the breakdown of sugars – it’s a bit like going on a low-sugar diet!

Interesting…
We still need to be sure of all this, and so submit Carb Blocker to our rigorous scrutiny to verify these claims.

Will it pass? Or not? We’ll find out.

Carb Blocker: the promises promises

Here, verbatim, is what the manufacturer of Carb blocker claims:

If you’re on a low-sugar diet to lose weight, sometimes it’s hard to be consistent, if you eat starchy foods, bread, pizza and potatoes, add Carb Blocker to your diet to reduce the caloric impact, it will help you lose weight without cutting out carbs completely.

This statement seems to hold water since, as we all know, we can’t really do without bread and its derivatives easily!

So, if a pill can indeed help us lose weight by focusing specifically on this form of starch addiction, it would be really and simply brilliant. So…

What should we expect from Carb Blocker?

Natural white bean extract has the proven ability to inhibit the complete assimilation of carbohydrates by the body.

The result is a reduction in the total amount of sugar available to the body, and consequently a reduction in the amount of energy the body draws from sugars.

And in the absence of regular physical activity, these sugars can be stored as fat.

Raw white bean extract may seem like a trivial product, and it may even come as a surprise that it is of such interest.

And yet… its effects on weight loss are scientifically recognized, as it has been the subject of several studies and has been known since the 1940s.

Extraction and purification methods for this extract have improved considerably in recent years, enabling us to offer consumers an effective product derived from non-genetically modified subsidiaries.

How works Carb Blocker actually work?

To understand how this pill works, we need to take a brief look at how carbohydrates are digested.

When we consume carbohydrates, i.e. products containing complex sugars, the best-known of which is starch (found in potatoes, bread and pasta, for example), we begin to digest them when we chew, with the help of amylase contained in the salivary glands.

The vast majority of this digestion takes place in the intestine, thanks to a pancreatic enzyme called alpha amylase, which breaks down the long chains of starch and converts them into simple sugars like glucose, as shown in the diagram below.

This has the ultimate effect of producing energy for the body, but also stimulates insulin, which is the storage enzyme for sugars converted into fat and stored as adipose tissue, primarily responsible for weight gain.

How Carb Blocker works block the breakdown of sugars?

Carb Blocker is made from white bean extract (phaseolus vulgaris), which contains phaseolamine. The latter has the ability to inhibit the action of alpha amylase.

The pheolamine neutralizes the action ofalpha amylase from breaking down carbohydrates into simple sugars, allowing them to pass through the digestive system with less caloric impact.

The phaseolamine neutralizes the effect of sugars derived from starch, which is highly beneficial for people (including diabetics) wishing to reduce their carbohydrate intake.

Several studies have tested the effect of phaseolamine.

Some of these studies have demonstrated its action in lowering blood sugar and postprandial insulin levels.

Other studies have shown that pheolamine inhibits up to 96% of the activity ofalpha amylase activity in the intestine on pasta starch.

The action of pheolamine on weight loss was tested in subjects consuming carbohydrates on a regular basis.

After 4 weeks, the group given an appropriate dose of pheolamine lost an average of 4 kg.

This result is all the more satisfying in that no side effects were reported.

That’s all, about Carb Blocker?

We now know that Carb Blocker inhibits the breakdown of starch into simple sugars, thereby reducing calorie intake and preventing the storage of excess fat.

The logical result of this action is weight loss, even when maintaining the same eating habits such as eating pasta, pizza or delicious baked potatoes.

In addition toWHITE BEAN EXTRACT which is the main active ingredient, Carb Blocker contains :
1. GUARANA EXTRACT :
Supplies caffeine, helps control appetite and prevents feelings of fatigue;
2. VITAMIN C :
Stimulates immunity and general bodily activity;
3. CHROMIUM PICOLINATE :
A fat burner that helps improve the effect of weight loss.

How to take Carb Blocker?

For an effective treatment, it’s important to follow the Carb Blocker administration instructions.

Take 1 capsule 10 to 30 minutes before breakfast and 1 capsule 10 to 30 minutes before lunch.

If you can eat light in the evening, or skip dinner altogether, you’ll get better results.

This is explained by the natural composition of this pill.

However, we would like to remind you that dietary supplements are not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women, or anyone undergoing specific medical treatment.

I combined 1 capsule of ANACA 3 with 1 capsule of carb Blocher and I had the symptoms of hypoglycemia..is this possible?

    • Corinne Kepler

      Hello Isis,
We don’t recommend combining slimming products, precisely to avoid unexpected reactions like these. In this case, it’s best to listen to your body and stop taking one or the other, or both.

Thank you for your article and the explanations, I like to understand how this or that thing works. I have a lot of kg to lose and so I am on a ketogenic/low carb diet. But as you know, it’s hard to go without solid foods, especially when you’re invited to friends’ houses or restaurants. So I found these pills that help me a lot morally, so I don’t get discouraged.

I’d like to ask you for more information. What happens when you take the carb blocker and eat only 40 minutes to 1 hour later? Because sometimes when I’m invited, it’s hard for me to know when we’re going to sit down to eat or when it’s “ready” to eat, so I try not to take it too late so that it’s 20 to 30 minutes, but unfortunately, sometimes it’s much later?

Also, on the site where I buy my carb blocker, it recommends taking 2 capsules before a meal (whereas on the packaging it says only one). What do you think (myprotein website).

    Thanks for your help!
