MedoRedux is “a controlled and certified medical consumable authorized in the European Union and Switzerland!”. That’s how this pill is presented on its official website (if we’re to believe its Swiss address and domain name; indeed, it’s practically the only one we’ve detected). With this pill, you’re supposed to lose 9, 16 and 23 kilos fairly quickly. One slide later, we’re promised a loss of 4 kilos in just a few days…
All these claims deserve our attention, of course. But because most of you are (actively) looking for a solution that works, we need to be rigorous. Does MedoRedux live up to its promises? Here’s a quick survey.

MedoRedux, a pill from Switzerland… or Germany?

That’s what all the elements of our investigation seem to confirm: a German-language site, prices expressed in Swiss Francs, an information page on the company behind the site, in German…
However, there is nothing on the site to confirm the origin of this pill. There’s no precise information on where it’s manufactured, how it’s distributed, and so on. We’re used to finding this kind of information easily when it comes to other similar products. In fact, there is a reasonable minimum amount of information that any self-respecting manufacturer must provide to its future customers.

The manufacturer of MedoRedux

Speaking of manufacturers, there’s a section with a clickable link at the very bottom right of the website, with the heading “Impressum”. On consulting this page, written in German, we find the name of a company: Top Body Care AG. According to company directory sites, we understand that this is a limited liability company operating in the import/export and trade of “lifestyle products”, entered in the commercial register in August 2016 and still in business. A physical address for the company is also provided.

Further down the site’s sections, we learn (finally) that these pills are made in Germany. That’s all we can learn about this MedoRedux supplier. The question of the manufacturer remains.

MedoRedux : promises and how it works

MedoRedux is promoted on its website as the best natural, herbal fat burner for guaranteed weight loss. By the way, it’s a product that’s supposed to help you simply eliminate fat bulges in targeted problem areas, quickly and safely, without hunger or effort.

However, later on in the long text extolling the virtues of this product, we come to understand that it’s actually a fat blocker, not a fat burner as originally advertised.

Indeed, its mechanism of action is summed up in the fact that MedoRedux blocks the body’s consumption of new fat. Deprived of these potential fats, the body will turn to those already well hidden in the bulges to consume them and make them disappear.

Although the website focuses on fat bulges (a word that’s repeated quite a lot), MedoRedux is said to be effective for problem areas of fat, typically located on the buttocks, hips, thighs, stomach and legs.

The ingredients of MedoRedux

According to its supplier, MedoRedux contains a single natural ingredient: a “complex of recently scientifically discovered plant fibers based on prickly pear Opuntia ficus-indica“. End of quote.

No other scientific information is provided about this ingredient. What we get is this paragraph:

a type of cactus from South America. Like a sponge, it neutralizes and absorbs fattening substances such as fats and calories from your diet. Once absorbed, these “fat-forming substances” can no longer be assimilated by your body, preventing them from replenishing your fat reserves.

How to take MedoRedux?

The website states that “anyone wanting to lose weight quickly” should take 2 to 3 herbal tablets with a glass of water. It is strongly recommended to take enough fluids (up to 2 liters of mineral water, tea, fruit or vegetable juice, fat-free broth).

Side effects and contraindications MedoRedux

No indication is given on the home page as to the duration of the cure, and you’ll have to go to the Important Questions section to discover that this product is not recommended for children, pregnant or breast-feeding women. The MedoRedux pill is declared by its supplier to be suitable also for diabetics (without calculation of bread units).

Otherwise, to the question “Would MedoRedux be harmful to health?”, the supplier answers with a categorical NO. And to add:

MedoRedux is a clinically tested medical consumable, authorized and controlled for Switzerland. That’s why MedoRedux will also soon be available in all drugstores, giving you the best possible assurance that you can lose kilo after kilo, with the power of plants, healthily and without reservation.

Testimonials from MedoRedux

Only one testimonial from a certain Cecile Lagrent appears on the website. This woman is said to have lost a total of 28.3 kilos, with a starting weight of 95.5 kilos. This person describes how she lost all that extra weight in a relatively short space of time, compared with all the other cures she had tried.

What can we say? In our humble experience, all the elements of this survey lead us not to get excited about this product. The reasonable minimum of information provided by the manufacturer is not present according to these elements.

It is above all the composition (dosage of ingredients, etc.) which is absent here, and which will not encourage informed users to order this product.
