1. Camellia Sinensis (Green tea):

Clinical studies on Sveltamax
Virage Santé laboratories have launched 2 studies to assess the efficacy of InSea2 capsules.
These 2 studies were carried out on 23 male and female volunteers aged between 19 and 59, under strict protocols (randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled).
The first study focused on the ability of InSea2 capsules to block starch assimilation.
Blood glucose and insulin measurements were taken over a 3-hour period to assess the body’s glycemic response to a test food, white bread, consumed 30 minutes after taking 500mg of InSea2.
The results showed that the capsules produced a faster and greater starch blockade than the placebo.
The second study focused on sugar blockade, and aimed to verify the inhibitory action of InSea2 on the a-glucosidase enzyme, responsible for sugar digestion. The results apparently showed an average 39% reduction in blood sugar levels.

The study consisted of a randomized crossover test carried out on 7 women and 7 men.
In conclusion, the researchers observed an overall downward trend in anti-oxidant enzyme activity.
Side effects and contraindications
