boite-leptopril

Leptopril, the cheaper Leptoprin

boite-leptoprilLEPTOPRIL is a weight loss supplement with a long history!

It’s a product that has changed names, changed formulas and finally changed owners several times. Not exactly the most trustworthy drug on the market.

Leptopril adopts the same formula as Leptoprin, the slimming pill that at one time caused a buzz in the USA because of its exorbitant price and provocative advertising.

The only difference is that it costs much less.

The question is, why?

It’s time to seriously investigate Leptopril to determine, once and for all, whether it’s a real weight-loss drug or just another weight-loss scam!

ADVANTAGES Leptopril :

  • Cheaper alternative to Leptoprin.

DISADVANTAGES :

  • Laboratories based in Utah, home to the vast majority of slimming scams;
  • Blatant lack of information on official website;
  • Not suitable for everyone and comes with many contraindications;
  • No money-back guarantee.

Test of Leptopril

Previously marketed by A.G Waterhouse under the name Leptoprin, Leptopril is now manufactured and distributed by GENERIX Laboratories, also based in the USA, more precisely in Utah.

On the website promoting this product, we were unable to find any indication of the manufacturer’s address or contact details.

This first aroused our suspicions, because Utah – and we’re telling you this if you didn’t know it before – is undeniably the capital of slimming pill scams.

The fact that Generix was offering a drug with the same composition as Leptoprin, for half the price, only reinforced our suspicions.

When it first aired in the USA, the Leptoprin ad created a buzz, simply because it was marketing slimming pills for the exorbitant sum of 112 euros a bottle, which provides a month’s treatment.

The basic message of the advert was clear: “Since it’s so expensive, everyone will think it must work!

Beyond this advertising formula, which later proved to be totally useless and was strongly criticized by the media and even by some celebrities, the manufacturer has momentarily revised its campaign.

Leptopril claims to be aimed only at people with a genuine obesity problem and a minimum of 10kg of excess weight to lose.

The manufacturer clearly states that this supplement should not be taken by people wishing to lose 2 or 3 kg in the run-up to summer, in other words for people who want “cosmetic” weight loss!

The drug itself is supposed to be a metabolic stimulant, to help speed up metabolism and provide more energy for dieters.

As you can see, Leptopril must be combined with a real restrictive diet and regular exercise, with a daily dose of 2 capsules to be taken separately with your two main meals of the day.

Ingredients of Leptopril

Leptopril’s formula is the same as that of Leptoprin, which was itself reformulated in 2007.

This was a radical change, with virtually all components changed.

It was also an opportunity for the manufacturer to discontinue the stimulant-free version of Leptoprin.

There is no indication of Leptopril’s ingredients on the official website.

It’s strange and can only be a sign of bad faith to deliberately omit this kind of vital information which enables users to verify the efficacy and safety of the weight loss supplements contained in the product.

Faced with this situation, we thought it would be useful to carry out our own research to discover the composition of Leptopril, which we present to you below:
1. GREEN COFFEE:
Like green tea, green coffee is a diuretic, antioxidant and stimulant.

A study published in 2009 showed that an acid contained in green coffee could reduce carbohydrate absorption and thus help weight loss.

However, consumption of this element is not recommended for people with heart problems.

In particular, it should not be taken in conjunction with other stimulants.

2. TRIMETHYLXANTHINE (caffeine):
Powerful stimulant that can easily become dangerous if taken in high doses or in combination with other stimulants (such as green coffee and green tea in the Leptopril formula).

Many studies have confirmed the slimming effect of this ingredient.

3. EXTRACT OF SCHIZONEPETA TENUIFOLIA :
A plant of Chinese origin whose effects on humans are as yet unknown.

It has been tested in mice as an anti-inflammatory agent interfering with their immune system.

4. RHODIOLA ROSEA EXTRACT :
A plant found in very cold regions, notably the mountains of Norway.

It is traditionally used to combat stress and fatigue, and to improve concentration and stamina.

For further information, please consult our article on Rhodiola Rosea.

5. L-ALANINE, L-VALINE, L-METHIONINE, L-CYSTEINE, L-LEUCINE, L-ISOLEUCINE and L-GLUTAMINE :
Various amino acids (proteins) found in different foods, with different biological roles in the body.

6. GREEN TEA EXTRACT:
Stimulant, antioxidant and with a potential thermogenic effect.

The effect of green tea depends enormously on the quantity consumed. And as it is a substance that is not regulated by law, Leptopril can contain little or no green tea without violating current regulations.

7. FORSYTHIA SUSPENSA VAHL EXTRACT:
Asian plant used in Chinese medicine to treat bacterial and respiratory tract infections, although studies have shown its efficacy to be very limited.

8. COLEUS FORSKOHLII ROOTS:
A plant of Indian origin attributed with a “slimming” effect through its action on carbohydrate and lipid metabolism.

Studies on Coleus Forskohlii are still ongoing, and no definitive conclusions have been reached.

Leptopril: what it promises promises

According to the official website, if you have more than 10 kilos to lose and diet and exercise aren’t enough, then Leptopril is just what you need.

It’s supposed to bring a revolution to the weight-loss drug market by blocking the problem at source, i.e. its action starts within 2 hours of eating.

Leptopril is designed to prevent the absorption of excess carbohydrates and inhibit fat storage.

What’s more, Leptopril gives you the extra energy you need to resist the fatigue caused by the deprivative diet you’re starting, and helps you avoid the frustration of deprivation.

But how does Leptopril do all this? That’s what all this fine talk doesn’t say!

We’ve just revealed Leptopril’s list of ingredients, and as you can see, it clearly doesn’t contain any component powerful enough to have this promised effect.

Is Leptopril effective?

First of all, even if Leptopril is effective, it’s hard to know, since we don’t know the exact quantities of each of its ingredients.

And, as we keep saying, you should never, under any circumstances, consume a supplement without knowing exactly what it contains.

And Leptopril, apart from a (very) high dose of stimulants, contains no ingredients known for their exceptional slimming properties.

It’s packed with caffeine and unknown plant extracts, with no references to clinical trials or serious studies proving their effect on weight loss.

In all sincerity, we have found no reason to claim that Leptopril is effective for slimming!

Side effects of Leptopril

With the amount of caffeine and stimulants it contains, Leptopril is bound to have side effects on heart function and, more specifically, heart rate.

The other ingredients contained in this supplement are unknown and we have no idea about their long-term adverse effects. We recommend that you remain vigilant and take this drug only after consulting your doctor.

ATTENTION : People with high blood pressure, diabetes, prostate disease or any heart condition should not take Leptopril.

Testimonials of Leptopril users

On the official website, there are no testimonials from users of the supplement.

On the net and in the various forums, opinions are a mixture of contradictions.

On the one hand, there are satisfied users, and on the other, there are those who have noticed no slimming effects other than nausea and diarrhoea.

A recurring finding also drew our attention: delivery times. Many Internet users have still not received their supplement, even though they have paid for it, while others have received their order but with a delay of several weeks.

Incidentally, we believe that the weight loss achieved by some consumers is due in part to the strict diet and exercise regime they have combined with Leptopril.

Guarantee Leptopril

Leptopril does not offer a money-back guarantee.

When we clicked on the guarantee link on the official website, we were redirected to the home page, which, in our view, represents an alarming lack of seriousness on the part of the manufacturer.

Test results of Leptopril

Leptoprin for the full price or Leptopril for half the price, it’s practically the same result!

The formula remains the same, and brings absolutely no “revolution” to the existing market for slimming pills.

What we have here is a product with no specific, detailed indication of ingredients, unknown and unreferenced components, a very high risk of caffeine overdose, and which boasts of being a valuable and revolutionary weight-loss aid!

Leptopril falls far short of its promise. Worse, it could even be dangerous.
