Here are the results of our investigation.

Before presenting the product and its promises, a first piece of information is essential when you’re looking for Dr Farin slimming pills on the web: the sites available are retailer sites, and none of them represent the manufacturer laboratory.

What’s more, the sites have been translated into a very approximate language, which immediately calls for vigilance.

But let’s get past this initial observation, and take a closer look at what these retailers have to say about Dr Farin pills:

These are pretty tempting claims, but Dr Farin will have to confirm them through its ingredients and formulation.

Dr Farin, the manufacturer

As we have already mentioned, the sites available are exclusively retailer sites.

On these sites, no information whatsoever is available concerning the manufacturer of Dr Farin pills.

There’s no company name, no contact details, apart from a telephone number.

This number looked familiar, so we did a little research.

And indeed, we found that the Dr Farin customer service number is exactly the same as the customer service number for CGA800 pills.

Intrigued by this discovery and common customer service, we did some further research and found the name of the same dietician for both products: Sabine Germiat.

We also noticed that the Facebook, Twitter and Youtube tabs on some sites didn’t work, and only redirected to the top of the page.

So we dug deeper to find out more about the identity of this Dr Farin.

Who is this doctor who lends his name to slimming pills: a fictional character or a real professional?

After much research, we found a certain Dr Farin, a specialist in neurosurgery at a Californian hospital with a respectable career. The dilemma was that we couldn’t find any link between this doctor and the slimming pills in question.

This proven lack of transparency on the part of the sellers of these pills is a very important indication that should not be taken lightly, since its only interpretation is that they refuse to allow the consumer to know the name and true identity of the manufacturer of these pills. In our view, this deprives our readers, and ourselves, of access to a very important criterion for evaluating this product: its origin!

We have a right to ask: why would a serious, reliable manufacturer of dietary supplements wish to conceal its identity in a world where reputation and renown are a guarantee of success and quality?

Ingredients in Dr Farin pills

If you’ve done any research into Dr Farin slimming pills, you’re probably familiar with their formula based on yacon and white mulberry. But did you know that there are also Dr Farin pills specifically for women, containing raspberry ketone and magnolia?

Or is it the other way around?

Between women and men, we’d like to say that confusion and vagueness reign supreme.

One site extolling the virtues of Dr Farin pills for women offers men’s pills to order.

Another site mentions yacon and white mulberry, then on the next page raspberry ketone and magnolia, as a specific formula for men…
We couldn’t find our way through the chaos!

But let’s talk about all the ingredients in Dr Farin’s two formulas.

1. Yacon :

Yacon, from its scientific name smallanthus sonchifolius, is a South American root rich in FSO, or Fructo-Oligosaccharides.

FSOs are soluble fibers that pass through the digestive tract without being digested, and have a prebiotic action on the body. They therefore help to balance the intestinal flora, and also have a slight appetite-suppressant effect.

2. White Mulberry:

This ingredient may slow carbohydrate absorption, regulate blood sugar levels and help reduce cravings.

3. Raspberry Ketone:

Praised on many weight-loss websites and endorsed by an impressive number of slimming pill manufacturers, we’ve devoted an entire article to this ingredient, which you can read by clicking HERE.

4. Magnolia :

It has properties for treating anxiety, sleep disorders, bloating and coughs, but nothing to do with weight loss.

Scientific studies on Dr Farin pills

Retailers tout a product “made exclusively from natural ingredients. They have passed the necessary quality tests at the world’s leading universities”..

We would have liked to see references and concrete evidence confirming these claims…
Which universities have studied and tested this blend of ingredients?

What clinical or scientific tests are involved?

Where can we find verifiable study reports? So many unanswered questions…
We can, however, refer to some studies, not mentioned by Dr Farin’s product, on the effects of the ingredients already mentioned above.

Let’s start with a study on the effects of yacon, carried out in double-blind conditions on 35 obese women over a period of 1 to 6 months.

These women consumed 140mg of yacon syrup per kilo of body weight, 1h before the 2 main meals of the day.

The results were encouraging, and showed:

• Weight loss, associated with a reduction in waist circumference and total body fat;
• An increase in the sensation of satiety;
• Accelerated intestinal transit;
• A positive effect on cholesterol levels.

While these results are promising, further studies on a larger number of subjects are needed to confirm yacon’s effectiveness for weight loss.

There are many studies on the effect of raspberry ketone. You can find some of them in our article cited above in the ingredients section.

White mulberry has also been the subject of several studies.

For example, a study carried out in Italy to assess the adjuvant slimming effect of Japanese white mulberry extract in the dietary treatment of certain obese or overweight patients.

The experiment involved 46 volunteers, all of whom received an identical balanced diet (1300 kcal/d). The subjects were divided into two groups: the first group received 2400mg of Japanese white mulberry extract, and the second group a placebo.

Regular inspections were carried out at 30, 60 and 90 days of treatment.

The result for the first group was a weight loss of around 9kg in 3 months, equivalent to 10% of the initial weight.

The second group on placebo achieved a weight loss of around 3.2kg, equivalent to around 3% of their initial weight.

In conclusion, the researchers of this study assert that Japanese white mulberry could represent a reliable adjuvant in the treatment of certain obese or overweight patients.

Regarding magnolia, we have not been able to find any studies on its effect on weight loss.

Side effects and contraindications

A priori, the ingredients in Dr Farin’s pills have no side effects.

However, as a precautionary measure, we do not recommend these pills for pregnant or breast-feeding women, people under the age of 18, or people allergic to one or more of the ingredients used in this product.

Testimonials from Dr Farin pill users

We were unable to find any independent reviews of Dr Farin pills on the web.

Only testimonials on retailer websites exist.

These testimonials are not sufficiently reliable to be taken into account.

Perhaps we should wait until this pill is better known within the community of people interested in weight-loss products, so that we can gather feedback from real users.
