Brazilian Diet, for a body worthy of Brazilian beaches

pack-brazilian-diet-skineanceYou’ve probably already heard about the beauty of Brazilian women, their sexy bodies and their perfect curves… Manufacturers of slimming products are surfing on the Brazilian trend, and today we’ve chosen to present you with the test of BRAZILIAN DIET, a new slimming drink with an exotic taste.

Presentation and promises of Brazilian Diet

Brazilian Diet is a comprehensive 14-day guarana-based program that targets fat loss.

The program consists of : 1 x 500ml bottle, a food guide and a complete sports guide.

The manufacturer recommends taking 1 measuring cap each morning.

The program can be extended beyond 14 days, depending on needs and the number of kilos to be lost.

According to retailer websites, Brazilian Diet has been clinically tested by renowned independent laboratories, with promising results. We’ll come back to this point in the section on studies.

The manufacturer of Brazilian Diet

Brazilian Diet doesn’t really have an official website, but rather a number of reseller sites.

On the bottle, however, we can read that this slimming drink is part of the Skineance brand.

An initial search of the Skineance website yielded no results.

But on consulting our archives, we realized that we had already tested a product from this brand, namely Slim Express gel (a test you can read more about at here).

Earlier in the course of this test, we discovered that Skineance is actually a spin-off from the Belgian company Intersourcing, founded in 2006.

Intersourcing’s mission is to create, research and supply various wellness products.

Unfortunately, we don’t know much more about the origin of the ingredients, the manufacturing methods and the laboratories where Intersourcing’s products are designed and produced.

Brazilian Diet ingredients

If the sales pitch is to be believed, the Brazilian Diet program is guarana-based.

First of all, when we look at the list of ingredients making up Brazilian Diet, we see that the first ingredient mentioned, i.e. the one with probably the highest quantity, is water!

Then, in order of quantity, we have : aqueous plant extracts (vassoura leaf and stem (Baccharis trimera), mate leaf), concentrated maracuja juice, dried guarana seed extract, flavouring, preservatives..

As you can see, guarana ranks only 5th in the Brazilian Diet ingredients list.

We would have liked to have more information on the dosage of each ingredient, to have a clearer idea of the potential effectiveness of Brazilian Diet. But let’s move on to a description of the respective ingredients of this slimming drink.

1. Baccharis or Vassoura leaves:

This is a medicinal plant that specifically targets the digestive sphere.

It aids digestion, especially when overeating.

It drains and purifies the body of toxins.

It supports the functions of the liver and pancreas, improves blood circulation, and helps combat constipation and bad breath.

2. Maracuja or passion fruit juice:

Passion fruit is rich in antioxidants, vitamin C, iron and fiber.

It helps combat free radicals, various forms of pollution and cardiovascular disease, as well as high blood pressure, joint disease and cancer.

Its fiber content may improve intestinal functions and increase the feeling of satiety, as well as regulating blood cholesterol and triglyceride levels.

3. Maté :

Maté acts in 5 main ways.

It stimulates the central nervous system and acts as a general tonic; it increases satiety; it activates thermogenesis, and therefore fat burning; and lastly, it has a mild laxative action.

To find out more about mate, we invite you to read our full article HERE.

4. Guarana:

Guarana’s slimming properties lie in its high caffeine content.

It is recognized for its natural appetite-suppressant effects, its ability to increase thermogenesis and thus promote fat burning, and its action on toxin elimination.

Brazilian Diet and science

In the section devoted to the clinical studies carried out on Brazilian Diet’s main ingredients, we leave you to consult the articles dedicated to each of these respective ingredients, the links to which appear above.

In what follows, we return to the famous test referenced by Brazilian Diet retailer sites.

This test, according to the retailers, was carried out on a voluntary group of 25 people aged between 25 and 65.

According to Intersourcing, and after 14 days of Brazilian Diet, the results obtained were as follows:

  • A maximum loss (achieved by one participant out of 25) of 3.9kg ;
  • A maximum waist circumference reduction (again achieved by only one participant out of 25) of 4.6cm;
  • An average reduction in thigh circumference of 2.4cm, and hip circumference of 4.4cm.

Although Analypharm Protocol n°010820 is mentioned, showing a valid test procedure, no links, files or reports are provided by the manufacturer to enable the reader to verify the results of this clinical test.

Side effects and contraindications of Brazilian Diet

The absence of exact caffeine doses in Brazilian Diet suggests caution.

In fact, in excessively high doses, caffeine can have harmful effects on health, such as insomnia, anxiety, irritation, heart rhythm disorders…
If you have the slightest doubt, we advise you to stop taking caffeine immediately.

Maracuja or passion fruit has sometimes been associated with a latex allergy, which can lead to urticaria-like or even anaphylactic reactions.

As usual, pregnant or breast-feeding women, people with medical conditions requiring treatment, and people under 18 years of age are advised not to use this product without the consent of their doctor.

Testimonials from Brazilian Diet users

Very few testimonials are available on the web.

However, some bloggers have had the opportunity to try it out and have posted their testimonials.

One of them was very disappointed with the product, with no visible results, either on the scale or on the skin, and didn’t hesitate to express her total dissatisfaction.

The other person, on the other hand, was very pleased with her experience: no more bloating, and a loss of 2.5kg in 14 days, with application of the diet and sports program, of course.

Brazilian Diet price and guarantee

The 500ml bottle of Brazilian Diet is available for 29,95€ on the Internet, or from certain TV shopping shows.

The manufacturer does not offer a money-back guarantee.

You’ll need to refer to any retailer’s terms and conditions of sale and guarantee to get a clearer idea of warranty and return policy.
