Diet Expert, personalized programs
Once again, we present a protein-based diet, the DIET EXPERT slimming program.
Among the multitude of high-protein diets on the market, does the Diet Expert program stand out from the crowd? What are its strengths? What are its weaknesses?
Our survey tells you all about the Diet Expert diet.
Diet Expert presentation and promises
The Diet Expert slimming method is based on the same principles as all protein-based diets. High-protein dishes and preparations are combined with a traditional diet, in which starchy foods and sugars are temporarily eliminated.
This reduction in calorie intake, combined with the addition of protein, leads to the phenomenon of ketosis, which causes the body to draw on stored fat for energy. Protein not only helps maintain muscle, but also increases satiety.
Ketosis is a metabolic state that occurs following a low-carb diet, prompting the body to use ketone bodies produced by the liver as an energy source instead of glucose.
The official website lists the many benefits of the Diet Expert diet:

The Diet Expert manufacturer
Little is known about the manufacturer on its official website, apart from the fact that Diet Expert, formerly known as Diet’avenue, has been active in France since 2002 and is one of the leaders in slimming.
A look at the company’s legal details reveals that it was registered with the RCS in France on 14/04/2015. It is a société à responsabilité limitée unipersonnelle, whose declared activity is “other food retailing in specialized stores”.
Diet’avenue, alias EOL Group, is a company specializing in distance selling from specialized catalogs, which went into receivership in 2008, only to be struck off the French Register of Companies on 03/04/2012.
We are unable to discern the link between these two companies, which legally represent two different and distinct entities!
According to the manufacturer, Diet Expert products are made in Europe, and are subjected to taste tests to offer products of the highest quality in every respect.
The official website is available in several languages, and has a customer service team easily accessible by phone or email.
Diet Expert protein formula ingredients
Since Diet Expert slimming kits come in a variety of products, with preparations for each of the 3 main meals, and with savory and sweet flavors, the ingredients vary.
However, there are several basic ingredients that recur in all hyperprotein preparations.
1. Vegetable proteins:
These are based on soy, wheat, egg white or milk protein.
- Milk protein is very rich in protein and low in fat, and plays an active role in building muscle.
Milk protein reduces appetite, but also increases the feeling of satiety.
- Soy protein is a high-quality protein, just as effective as whey protein.
It contains all the essential amino acids, as well as potassium, zinc, iron, vitamin E, phosphorus and B vitamins.
- Egg white is also an excellent source of protein. Its biological value is 93.7/100.
- Wheat protein, on the other hand, is of relatively low biological value, and is of no particular interest.
The chemical index of the proteins present in Diet Expert formulas is 100/100 for classic packs, and 120/100 for booster packs. This means that the proteins are assimilated extremely efficiently and completely by the body.
2. Inulin:
Inulin reduces blood lipid and glucose levels, increases mineral absorption, relieves digestive disorders and has prebiotic effects.
3. Green Tea Extract:
Green tea is an ingredient renowned for its slimming properties. It increases the body’s basic metabolism, and therefore fat burning. It stimulates lipolysis and promotes elimination.
4. Green Coffee Extract:
Green coffee offers the benefits of caffeine without the side effects. It increases thermogenesis and fat burning, fights fatigue and also stimulates lipolysis.
Scientific studies on the Diet Expert diet
A survey was carried out in 2008, under the supervision of a bailiff and a doctor, to assess the effectiveness of Diet Expert products.
On average, 5 weeks of dieting with the Booster program yielded the following results:
- A loss of 6.8kg ;
- – 3.5 cm thigh circumference ;
- – 6.4 cm waist circumference ;
- – 7.1 cm around the buttocks ;
- – 2 cm arm circumference ;
- – 3.9 cm chest circumference;
- – 9.1 cm hip circumference.
It should be noted, however, that no official report is available, nor any other source of information that would enable us to verify these results.
A number of studies have investigated the effects of protein and high-protein diets on human health. It’s difficult to list them all, but we’ll just mention one of the most recent, which studied the role of high-protein diets in weight control and the co-morbidities associated with obesity.
This study, carried out by the Department of Nutrition, Exercise and Sport, Faculty of Science, University of Copenhagen, Denmark, examined the impact of a slight increase in dietary protein and a reduction in carbohydrates, and compared the impact of low/high glycemic index in weight control in 932 obese families.
The experiment consisted in putting them on an 800-calorie-a-day diet for 8 weeks. After an initial estimated weight loss of 11kg, these individuals were subjected to 5 different diets, each with different protein content and glycemic index, for a period of 6 months.
In conclusion, the results showed that the DioGenes (régime = diet, obésité = obesity, gênes = genes) diet applied in this study was effective in preventing weight regain and weight loss in overweight children.

User testimonials on the Diet Expert slimming program
We can’t help but notice the disparity between the opinions expressed about Diet Expert products.

The support offered by Diet Expert seems to be a real plus for the success of the diet. The vast majority of products are satisfying in terms of taste.
